Using Off-Grid Companion
You may use the app for personal, lawful purposes. You are responsible for following instructions carefully, checking conditions around you, using appropriate protective equipment, supervising minors, and stopping whenever a task is unsafe or beyond your skill.
Do not use the service to break laws, harm others, interfere with the service, probe its security, submit malicious material, or copy and redistribute protected app content except where law permits.
Safety and emergency limitations
- Never rely on the app as your only source during an emergency.
- Follow official alerts, public-health guidance, product instructions, local codes, and directions from emergency services.
- Do not attempt hazardous electrical, fuel, fire, structural, water-treatment, or repair work without appropriate training and qualified help.
- Location, weather, local food, and regional information can be incomplete, delayed, or unavailable.
Accounts and saved information
An account is optional for many features. If you create one, provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and notify Support if you suspect unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity through your account. Offline or locally stored information may be lost if you clear app data, remove the app, or lose your device before it has synced.
Subscriptions
Companion+ subscriptions unlock eligible premium features for the subscription period shown at purchase. Available plans, trial eligibility, pricing, taxes, renewal timing, and cancellation terms are displayed by the applicable store before purchase.
Subscriptions purchased through Apple are billed to your Apple ID and renew automatically unless canceled through your Apple subscription settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple manages billing, refunds, and cancellation for App Store purchases. Restoring a purchase requires the Apple ID used for the original purchase and an active eligible entitlement.
Some features may be limited to a particular plan, such as an active annual subscription. Ending or changing a subscription can change access while preserving eligible saved progress.
Apple standard EULA
For the iOS app, these terms supplement Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. Where Apple’s terms apply or conflict, Apple’s terms control to the extent required.
Intellectual property
Off-Grid Companion and its original text, visual design, software, graphics, trademarks, and training materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service; they do not transfer ownership.
Availability and changes
We may maintain, update, add, remove, or discontinue features. We do not promise that the service, synced data, third-party information, or offline materials will always be available or error-free. We may suspend access when reasonably necessary for safety, security, legal compliance, or misuse.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or results. To the extent permitted by law, Off-Grid Companion is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service or applicable requirements change. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised terms. If you do not agree, stop using the service and cancel any subscription through the store where you purchased it.
